In addition to the ISK Geomagnetic Observatory, a new observatory set in operation in Turkey in 2004. This new observatory is called Iznik Geomagnetic Observatory (IZN). DMI three-components sensor and DMI three axis fluxgate magnetometer with pc-based data logger (HDZ) as variometer and for absolute measutements D/I theodolite and proton Magnetometer are used in the observatory. Since 2007, the new observatory is the member of INTERMAGNET.
